Fortunately in Edmonds WA our field marshal is Rick Steves the stoner travel guru, and our March is two blocks down Main to the opera house for a sing along. But yes, if you’re in Seattle, caution and planning is warranted.

out of the country or I would go. Just one comment: non-violence includes NON-destruction of property!! Don’t give anyone an image of anything but truly peaceful but resolute protest, and there will be a chance for many more people to WAKE UP! Thank you for your work, Laura.

Excellent advice from a favorite relative. (Almost said "...from one who knows.") I'll be in Montpelier, a benign spot I'd think, but just lugging a couple of cameras and maybe bringing an N-95 mask which likely won't be needed. I'll leave my Soviet Cold War gas mask and a phone at home. Normal dress and being and old coot helps. Hope for a big turnout.

milk is for oil-based pepper spray, water is ideal for tear gas and is less likely to cause further irritation :)
